It is becoming more and more important for students thinking of a career in the performing arts and creative industries, to have a broad and diverse knowledge of not only what is happening on the stage (new plays, actors, writers, directors etc) but also within the film industry.
When auditioning/applying for drama schools / universities candidates are expected to have the awareness to be able to discuss their favourite independent/foreign films and directors and to be able to talk about them with confidence.
This is a small group session which allows students to watch and analyse movies from different genres and discuss their own personal findings.
